Aisha Amlani

Aisha has always had a deep interest in the human body and its functions, which led her to complete a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree in 2019. Having volunteered in an age care centre during this time, she was able to further understand the complexities of those living with hearing loss, and sympathise with the fellow residents. This motivated her to complete a Master of Clinical Audiology degree, for which she graduated in 2021 from the University of Western Australia. 
 
Her interest in adult aural rehabilitation led her to join the Expert Hearing Care team, after graduation. Her passion for providing clients with individualised hearing health care care solutions aligns with the company’s values, as she is able to provide professional and patient centred care with access to all hearing aid manufacturers.
 
Outside of work, her hobbies include photography, hiking, and enjoying brunch with her friends.

Amrita Gill

Amrita’s curiosity about following a career in Audiology came from her experience with her students who had hearing loss. She was inspired by her students’ struggles, challenges and successes and from there decided that helping people with hearing problems was what she wanted to do. This led her to undertake and graduate from a Master’s Degree in Clinical Audiology at the La Trobe University, Melbourne. 

 

Amrita loves what she does! There is so much about audiology that she enjoys from the continuous advancement in technology in hearing aids, to helping her clients communicate more successfully and improves their quality of life and relationships.

 

When Amrita is not working with clients she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and trying new dance styles.

Eloise Anne Bacusmo

Eloise’s unwavering curiosity for the intricate neural mechanisms underlying perception and cognition prompted her to complete a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree with a major in Neuroscience. During her undergraduate studies, Eloise actively volunteered in various hospitals, gaining first-hand insights into the profound effects of hearing loss on communication and quality of life. This inspired her to complete a Master of Clinical Audiology degree at the University of Western Australia, to become a hearing healthcare professional dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with hearing difficulties and empowering them to reconnect with the world of sound. 

With her commitment to incorporating a holistic approach to client-centred care, Eloise joined Expert Hearing Care, as she believes that the company’s values align with her passion for delivering personalised hearing healthcare solutions. This ensures that clients receive optimal care without any limitations tied to a specific hearing aid manufacturer.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Eloise immerses herself in thrilling escape room challenges with friends, explores diverse food cuisines, and plays musical instruments like guitar, ukulele, and piano.

Hannah Morley

A few years after completing her Bachelor of Science, Hannah stumbled across the world of audiology while researching potential postgraduate degrees. Combining her passion for serving others and her interest in the human body, she completed her Master of Clinical Audiology, with distinction at The University of Western Australia in 2017. 

Hannah has worked in adult aural rehabilitation since graduation. She enjoys the client-focused aspect, with the client’s needs always driving her decisions. Hannah has worked with a wide range of hearing aid brands, and is able to use that experience to  recommend devices based on each client’s individual needs, without any restriction to certain brands; taking advantage of Expert Hearing Care being an independent clinic that is not owned by any manufacturer.

Hannah is a theme-park enthusiast, always looking forward to the next travel adventure.

Kara Robinson

Kara decided to pursue a degree in Audiology as she has a deep interest in human biology. She stumbled across the audiology profession after researching possible post graduate degrees. She decided it was the perfect mix of human biology, interacting with clients and technology. After deciding to study Audiology after completing her undergraduate degree, Kara moved to Melbourne for 2 years where she completed her Master of Clinical Audiology degree. 

Since completing her Audiology degree in 2017, Kara has focused on the adult rehabilitation sector of audiology. She now has over 5 years experience in this area. Kara enjoys interacting with her clients and keeping up with the constantly changing technology. 

Kara joined Expert Hearing Care as she has always wanted to work for a company that is not owned by a manufacturer. This means that she can provide her clients with unbiased opinions about hearing aid technology. She also believes in supporting local businesses.  

Kara loves traveling and exploring new countries, as well as watching documentaries and trying new recipes in her spare time.

Nicholas Cook

Nicholas graduated in 2017 with a Master of Clinical Audiology from The University of Western Australia. He joined us in Nov 2019 after moving to Perth from Albany. Originating from the UK, a combination of interests in science and technology with a great desire to help people and work in a frontline allied health profession led him to choose audiology as a career. He has particular interests and experience in Adult aural rehabilitation, tinnitus management, and diagnostic audiology.

Nicholas joined Expert Hearing Care as this company aligned with his values to provide independent professional advice to his clients with access to all hearing aid manufacturers. He is dedicated to providing clients with friendly and respectful service to give a positive impact to their hearing, achieve the best outcomes and achieve their hearing goals to improve their overall wellbeing and lifestyle.

Outside of work Nicholas enjoys hiking in the Perth hills, swimming in the ocean, photography and spending time with his family dog.

Rebecca Dsouza

Rebecca has always had a keen interest in working in the health field. Her interest in audiology sparked when her mother’s hearing health started to decline and she struggled to find the right support. This motivated Rebecca to pursue her Master’s in Clinical Audiology with the aim to offer clients the right aid and guidance in their hearing journey. 

The ability to provide client-centred care with an unbiased opinion and offer clients various hearing aid manufacturers based on their needs is what drove Rebecca to start her career with Expert Hearing Care after she graduated from the University of Western Australia in November 2021. Rebecca enjoys keeping up with the latest technology in hearing aids and is always dedicated to providing the best support to her clients.
Apart from work, Rebecca enjoys long walks by the beach and is a food enthusiast.
