Vince has over 30 years experience in the hearing industry. He has worked in various roles including clinical, rehab, training and management.
Having completed a Psychology degree he gained an interest in the field of audiology which led to him attaining a traineeship with the National Acoustics Laboratories in Sydney. Having completed the audiology requirements to practice as a clinician he returned to Perth and worked with the Australian Hearing services initially as a clinician then trainer and finally as a manager. During this time he went on to complete further studies in Health Sciences and Counselling eventually gaining a Masters in Health Science.
Finally, the lure of a senior management role beckoned and the last 15 years were spent at National Hearing Care initially dabbling in some clinical work before taking on a full time management role. Eventually whilst the role was rewarding and challenging the desire to go back to my “roots” and work in a clinical capacity was overwhelming.
I chose a small independent company – Expert Hearing a company with no specific ties to manufacturers and a focus on key values of putting clients first and allowing the clinicians to achieve in conjunction with the clients the best possible outcomes for their hearing needs.
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology)
- Graduate Diploma Health Sciences
- Traineeship Program in Audiology (NAL)
- Graduate Diploma in Arts ( Counselling)
