What to expect at your appointment.

Arriving prepared helps us make the most of your time with the clinician. Please keep the following in mind when planning your visit:

  1. Arrive 10 minutes early to complete your patient intake form and update your details.
  2. Bring your hearing program card if you are a Pensioner Concession Card holder (Blue), DVA Gold Card holder, or DVA White Card (Hearing Specific) holder. You may be eligible for subsidised services under the Hearing Services Program, and we will check your eligibility during your appointment.
  3. If you’re unsure about anything, contact your local clinic and our team will guide you over the phone.

Additional helpful information for your audiology appointment

  • Bring your current hearing aids chargers, domes, earmoulds, and any accessories you use. This helps us assess your devices and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Bring a list of your medications and relevant medical history, especially if you have ear‑related conditions, balance concerns, tinnitus, or recent changes in hearing.
  • If you’ve had recent hearing tests or ENT reports, please bring copies so we can review them.
  • Allow up to 60 minutes for a full hearing assessment, including otoscopy, hearing tests, and discussion of results.
  • If you wear glasses, bring them along—they’re often needed for reading forms or managing small hearing‑aid components.
  • If you require a support person, they are welcome to attend with you.
