Best-in-Class: Waterproof hearing aids

best-in-class-waterproof

Introduction

While most hearing aids all have some level of dust and water protection, this is sometimes not enough to protect the delicate circuitry of the hearing aid for some wearers. Sailors, sportspeople, people working in dusty environments, and others living in tropical climates are best served by waterproof and dustproof hearing devices. Water, dust or shock – they can‘t stop you with a waterproof hearing aid.

As you would expect, it includes all of the features that you would expect from an advanced hearing aid and a member of the micon product family that we have awarded Best Overall.

Sport Clip: The optional Sport Clip affixes to Aquaris securely to prevent the displacement or loss of your instruments while you’re engaged in demanding sports or in rugged surroundings.

Aquaris’s unique technology is completely waterproof at a depth of up to 3 feet (1 m) for 30 minutes. To make sure that Aquaris’s housing is totally watertight, it is produced from one complete piece and attached to the battery compartment using a silicone sealant.

For swimming, you‘ll have a custom-made soft ear mold to prevent water from getting in. Simply switch the earpieces, and in you go.
